Frankie leads the strategic growth, development and direction of the Sky-Futures global business. He has held several senior roles within the company that include Training & Operational Standards, Head of Operations and Global Director. Frankie joined as the fifth Sky-Futures employee in 2014 and has seen many changes from the initial start-up phase, acquisition by private equity, to leading the Management buy-out from Graphite Capital. During his tenure as Global Director, Frankie led the company to its highest period of revenue growth. An accomplished leader, he spent 14 years in the British Armed Forces where he developed a collaborative, confident and highly dynamic leadership style. With over 20 years combined military and commercial aviation experience, Frankie has personally delivered UAS operations across five continents in safety critical environments.
Nick oversees Sky-Futures ever evolving Engineering team. He moved to Aberdeen in the late 90s to study at Aberdeen University and after graduation as a mature student, started his offshore career as a rope access NDT Technician for Oceaneering. Progressing to team lead, Nick remained in the rope access/NDT industry until 2010, leading inspection projects throughout the UKCS and Africa for several specialist inspection companies including: Oceaneering, RBG/Stork, Salamis, Bilfinger for all the major North Sea oil companies at the time – BP, Shell, TAQA, Chevron and Total. Nick moved into the subsea inspection sector as a 3.4u Inspection Controller on projects for Stork, ISS Harkand and Subsea 7 until 2015 when he joined Sky-Futures as an Inspection Engineer. He moved into the Inspection manager role in 2018 and has overseen the delivery of a wide variety of inspections across the globe as well as creating a set of robust inspection procedures and training programmes for the global operation of the company. Nick is also responsible for the technological development of Sky-Futures capabilities, working in recent years on class-leading innovations in confined space inspections and remote delivery of NDT inspections in the oil and gas, renewables, civil infrastructure and maritime markets.
